Objectives

Without energy there is no life, without environment there is no quality of life. One of the challenges of the modern industrial world is based on the need to integrate the environmental aspects of any new process for the physical, physico-chemical or biological transformation of matter. Knowing how to produce while respecting the objectives of less pollution, saving and recovering energy constitutes a major challenge for the industry. The mission of an Energy Engineering engineer is to design and control the construction of production units and their management, to operate existing installations and improve them, to take the environment into consideration at all stages of the life of an installation, to have a forward-looking vision of energy needs and the best way to meet them.

Opportunities

The benefits of this new cycle of engineering training are of interest to several industrial sectors and production companies. Companies which produce energy, either in the form of electrical energy or in the form of energy resulting from the transformation of electricity, companies which use and/or implement energy recovery in as part of their industrial process. In addition, graduates can pursue post-graduate studies in Masters and Doctorates, in Tunisia or abroad.
